Our Story Begins in miami

Everything we do is for family.

Lolo’s Social Club started the way most good things do. At home.

Four generations lived under one roof at Lolo’s house in Miami. His daughter, grandkids, cousins, and whoever had just arrived from the island. We didn’t just coexist. We stayed up too late, laughed too loud, watched movies, and went on long paseos across Miami. We found wheelchair-friendly spots so Lolo could come along. Ball & Chain, Books & Books, Fruit & Spice Park, churros at Las Palmas, and his favorite, Islas Canarias.

After he passed, something felt missing. Not just him, but the way we gathered.

So we decided to keep it going.

Lolo’s Social Club is our excuse to bring everyone back together. A revival of the social clubs our grandparents grew up with, reimagined for the DMV. With roots in both Miami and Washington, DC, we built this as a pop-up series that feels like home no matter where you’re from.

This is for the salseros, yes, but it’s also for the college friend groups, the primos the aunts & uncles, the abuelos, and the ones bringing them all together. Show up with your people and leave with a few more.
